Hi guys. Well, not much to report here at the almost-to-last-day-of-the-year 2006. Waiting for the year 2007 anxiously because a lot is going to happen: finishing my thesis, getting married, starting a new life basically with the girl of my dreams and the love of my life. Can't complain ;)

Music wise it was a great year: new Tool album (10, 000 Days) which is great, Iron Maiden's "A Matter of Life and Death" which was good, Dream Theater's "Score" (which I attended the show in New York, one of the best moments in my life), OSI's 2nd Release "Free"; and so many others I can't think of at the moment, except the ALBUM OF THE YEAR (in my humble opinion of course ;)). The album of the year for me is Joey Vera's A Chinese Firedrill "Circles". A great album from start to finish, no filler tracks and some majestic moments throughout the record. Props to Joey Vera for this great record and one of the best I've heard in my music life. A quick and short description of the album according to my ears is a "heavy version of Peter Gabriel".

Anyways, cheers to the new year 2007. A toast for this wonderful year and let us hope for the best for 2007. See ya' then!!
