Hey gang, how's everybody doooooooooinnnnnnng?!!!! Put your hands in the air...........wave them like you don't care......YO' YO' YO' (kick it!!) YO' YO'YO

Razz

Anyways, I've been EXTREMELY busy at work this past couple of weeks. I work as a Failure Analysis Engineer / Materials Engineer for an very known auto parts manufacturer in Chapter 11 Laughing (Delphi Automotive Systems). Anyways, I love the job, exhausting, but I'm loving it.

I'm taking a week off starting this Saturday July 14th. I'm actually having my 1st REAL vacations (off from school and work). I'm going to DISNEYLAND. I'll be leaving (driving) on Saturday with my GF and her little bro'. We will be staying there for 3 days then heading back to Phoenix and will be watching Harry Potter at the IMAX Theater at PHX. Ill be back on Wednesday night and then go back to work on Monday (23rd)

BUT

Will be leaving on Wednesday, July 25 to go and watch the mighty Dream Theater @ Phoenix, and will be coming back next day morning from the airport straight to work (plane leaves at 8am PHX time and I arrive at 8am El Paso time...thank god for time zones!! Laughing Laughing )

Been listening to a lot of music and watching tonz of movies (theater and dvds). So far my suprise of the year is Transformers the movie and Surf's Up.

Been reading as well: Well you want to be a rock star by Jacob Slichter (Semisonic's drummer...remember that band with their hit "Closing Time"??) and Neil Peart's Roadshow. Both recommended, especially teh first. Been reading also soem stuff on failure analysis...

Thesis?? Been progressing.....not much, but steady. I changed subjects in May, so I expect to be done by December. I NEED to finish by December.....going to be hard, but it's feasible.

Music:
Been listening to Andromeda, Redemption, Jimmy Chamberlin Complex, Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, Kaddisfly, Dredg, Evergrey, Symphony X, Snow Patrol, Aerosmith, PETER GABRIEL, Jorn Lande, John Macaluso, Ark, Goo Goo Dolls, RPWL, Blind Ego, Vanden Plas, Frost*, Pure Reason Revolution, A Perfect Circle, Tool and some others I can't recall right now.

TV:
Been hooked with The Office (US edition) and Scrubs. Two and a Half Men is also very good, and I've been watching some Spin City re-runs

I'm also rehabilitating my left knee, which was injured several years ago and had surgery on it 7 yrs ago, but never started the rehab. About two months ago, I started to have some Hip pain and decided to go and check it. So I'm basically rehabbing both my knee and hip. Seems like both problems are related since my left knee is very very weak and all the weight was being supported by my left hip.

Been saving for wedding and immigration/lawyer fees. Still undecided if I should go to the US or Canada....that's been on my mind for a while now, but need to decide quick.

I also had a Hard Drive crash loosing around 30 gigs of music. It was my multimedia drive....Fortunately it's covered by the Seagate warranty so I should be getting the replacement soon.

Wired Magazine is the shit!!! I definitely recommend this magazine and it's only 12 bucks a year.

That's it for now!!
